Not sure where this thread belongs.

I picked up a 91 civic with these seats. Anyone know what they are out of? I haven't found much info anywhere online.

Those are the factory leather seats from that generation of Civics

In pretty sure civics never came with leather until recently, but Acura did so probably from an Acura

They are not out of anything. Those are stock seats, the recline adjuster and headrest is the exact same as any other EF sedan seats.

I know 100% what they are, as I bought a brand new civic from Honda in those days. 1st of all, they are NOT leather, lol

They were the base seats found on CX models, and entry level std units. They were vinyl

Base seats for those cars. Only difference in seats were in the Si models and the got black and red and were slightly "sportier" seats.

Try finding a good set of Si seats for the EF generation is a needle in a haystack.

I was under the impression this generation of civic only came with cloth seats.

Do you know if these seats are fairly uncommon to find? Was hoping to replace the drivers side that is ripped up.

They were offered in 88/89 only. You could try your luck at the junk yard, but finding cloth seats will be much much more common.
