Where to buy engines?

I'm looking for a Ford 5.4l 3 Valve engine, anyone have know a good place to buy a used one?

I'd like to avoid the shady sources.

Aren't those engines shady to start with?
Cam Phasers, Spark Plugs, timing chain stretch etc. :dunno:

Seems to me you aren't making things any worse by buying from some guy wearing a trenchcoat and mirrored sunglasses.

On a slightly more helpful note, have you considered buying a donor truck? Regular Cab fleet trucks with some body damage would be a thousand or two, and you should be able to sell the shell for $500 without stressing yourself.
