Dashcam Adhesives

So I've had my dashcam long enough and gone through two windshields that I need a replacement. The stuff I got with my Blackvue actually worked incredibly well.

Anything that comes to mind that will work just as well and be as relatively easy to remove if needed?

I used these:

Worked great for when I swapped my windshield and had to re-attach my dashcam.

I use the 3m VHB tape cut to fit my mount, it's what those stickers are made from and it holds it on there amazingly, is removable if you want to take it off though.

Be careful with some of the non branded stuff if you end up getting those...

When the shop changed my windshield last, they were nice enough to put my dashcam mount back on using some sort of double-sided taped. When I took my dashcam off last week when selling the vehicle, the dashcam came off too easy and the adhesive left pieces on the windshield. This does not happen with the stuff that comes with the camera.

Funny that this thread was made I was just thinking the same thing. Tore the one out of my Audi yesterday for todays trade in. Damn was that thing ever tough to pull down on the blackvue, I was also worried if it would break from twisting too hard.

But does anyone know something local to pickup or best bet is to order those amazon ones?
