The only stampede food that matters.

Is anyone else getting annoyed with white people putting butter chicken on everything?

I plan to avoid the stampede entirely for the third year in a row.

Looks lame. Haven't been in over 10 years, now i remember why. Last year was the best on record for me, got a new job outside of downtown...couldn't even tell Stampede was on other than the official stampede lunch at work, hope more of the same this year

I'll pass you guys your cool person awards for not going to stampede on your way out of the thread.

I think I might go this year haha I haven't gone in at least the last 2-3 years. Not really interested in the food though.

I will probably not to go this year. I liked it when I was a teenager and I liked the bars when I was 18-22. No interest in it now. I'll get drunk and eat bugs at home

Stampede has lost my interest almost completely. I used to really love it as a kid, especially with the N64 tournaments they had in the Round-Up Center (now BMO). There also used to be 2-3 new rides every year and they changed the layout of things sometimes.

My only interest now really is to pick up some candied pecans and almonds at Billy Bees. Occasional outdoor gambling at the color game and whatnot, but even then that's a bit boring now to me.

I hope there's pepperoni cheese sticks this year in Weadickville as I usually buy a bunch. Might go for 1 day, get banned at the Wiggle game, and that's it.

Not sure what the appeal of putting bugs on things is?

Just so people can say that they've done it before?

By no means am I " too cool" for the Stampede, but the last couple years I have gone just to walk the grounds, try the food, etc. it was so busy that I couldn't even move. Took 10-20 minutes to go a tiny distance. We ended up leaving both times within the hour because the crowds were so unpleasant. Maybe we just picked bad days :dunno: It's always busy but I don't remember it ever being that bad but maybe I'm just grumpier these days

I don't go every year anymore. Every other year is kind of our routine now. I don't mind it, usually make a day of it, go to the rodeo, walk the grounds, mini donuts maybe a jumbo corn dog. When it comes to Stampede food I like the classics, but I'm old so.....

Classics are always the best and they haven't really gone up in price either.

Not only couldn't I care less, I regret the waste of electrons wasted to display the vacuous comments on my monitor

I love going. Free booze. Hot chicks. Chuckwagons. Rodeo. Parties.

Whats not to like?

This year however, we are going to Kelowna the second half of stampede so I'll have to get my licks in early.

Will be going to the rodeo as always!

I'm not sure what the infatuation with eating bugs is... But that fried hotdog filled pickle looks unreal!
