Air conditioning

Hey guys, hoping for some help. We're looking into getting A/C installed in our house this year but we are unsure what sort of cost we're looking at. Without calling individual companies and getting them to come to us for a quote, is there anyone out there who can give us an approximate figure on A/C for a 2 storey 1450 sq/ft house?

Also have been looking around. From what I gather and calling a few places its around 3 - 4 k

My 2 story, 1500 sqft 2T was around $3200 iirc. from action. I also got a humdifier put in at the same time and bought a nest and cover but I returned and bought the newer nest and different cover.
