Hi everyone,
Rare pearl white RSX Type S up for grabs! This is the last year of the RSX and it is in excellent condition. The car has only been winter driven for one season. Dealership maintained up until summer last year. I have ALL records including new work done outside of the dealer (Garage Box or myself). No accidents, non smoker. Power windows, locks and sunroof. Heated mirrors, and it has a factory Bose 6 disc CD changer with a Bose factory sub installed in the spare tire. Tires have lots of life left. The car really is a workhorse. I've fit five foot long tables and even single beds in the trunk. Don't let its small appearance fool you!
The car is nearly stock. Modifications include:
- debadged trunk (only the Acura symbol remains)
- Putco Jet yellow daytime running lights/high beams
- Sylviana Silverstar ZXE low beams
- OEM Honda Civic SiR (ep3) front seats (these fabric seats that are a great upgrade over the stock leather seats)(no SRS or seat heaters)
- Tegwia 6 speed duracon shift knob (always a comfortable temperature to hold)
- Circuit Hero Ghost Blue shift extender
- generic black with red stitching shift boot (perfect match to the seats)
- new and already cracked again, dealer installed OEM fog lights with yellow film over top (I was hoping the film would prevent cracking, but it didn't)
Maintenance:
- undercoat performed last year, even got under the side skirts
- Motul 5W40 synthetic every 5000km's since last year (factory 5W30 used before that)
- Honda manual transmission fluid changed every 15,000 km's since last year
- power steering fluid changed last year
- new passenger side window motor installed this year
- new sway bar front end links installed this year
- new starter installed last year
The car needs nothing. The only blemishes are super tiny door dings on one of the quarter panels and a small dent in the roof (maybe from a golf ball?). I tried to photograph these and the camera couldn't even pick them up they were so small. The windshield has a few chips in it but it's been like that since I've owner the car. Some of the rims are corroding but nothing out of the ordinary. Mechanically sound other than the very rare 3rd gear pop out, a common RSX issue. The car currently has a shift extension installed and the added leverage and force generated from having the knob at that height pretty much eliminates the issue. 3rd gear pops out maybe once a month.
