Some POS went through my back alley on Sat night tagged a bunch of stuff.

Garage doors, travel trailers etc...and the Hood of my Porsche that was outside due to me having some equipment set up in my garage as I did some home reno's.

So now I have a lovely swath of black spray paint on the hood of my car.

Any suggestions on how to remove it other than grabbing a sander and going for it ?

Thanks.

Guy did the same thing on my fence a month or so ago...

Time to invest in some IR wireless camera's...

And a big bat...

Well Acetone got the paint off.

Its still a little dull...

Would clay bar bring back the shine a bit before polish ?

Grab "Doodle Buster" from Apple Cleaning Supplies. If you aren't worried about clear, it should do the trick.

If it is dull, try using a polishing compound or scratch remover. If that isn't enough to get the shine back, then start with a cutting compound first. Don't rely on the wax to bring back the shine.
