Not in a really long time. Early 90s, in or around Calgary.

Never used one, but do I get partial credit for knowing what it is?

Yes, starting mid-80s and last time was probably around 1997 or so.

I'm in my 30's and have never used one, and dont know what it is? Is it a call box to buzz up to an apartment?

Damn, I thought it was the buzzer for the old balls convention.

Are there any drive in theatres around anymore? A few years I think city of lethbridge put a couple together using a radio station.

Late 60's - Early 70's for me. Vancouver area. Lougheed Drive In was the most frequent. There were a few around back then. Last time was Enderby, and that one is still going. Although the speakers were probably taken out 20 years ago.

Yea now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure most theatres switched to FM transmitters around the early 90s. So I likely did use one of those things since the mid or late 80s or so

The last few drive in movies I saw used FM on your radio.

The last movie I saw that used one of those boxes? Jim Henson's Labyrinth featuring David Bowie.

None left in Alberta that I'm aware, nearest operating one would be near Enderby - Starlight Drive-In, link (http://www.starlightdrivein.ca/).
