Reports to: Urethane Manager. Department: Casting (Shop) Revision Date: May 6, 2016
Position Overview & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Urethane Manager the Jr. Urethane Specialist is responsible for the encapsulation and overmolding of all Onstream inhouse products along with any required third party jobs. The Jr. Urethane specialist will also be required to assist in everyday duties in the urethane department.
Responsibilities Include:
• Encapsulation of Sensors Packs
• Overmold of cables ends
• Recovery of Sensors and cable ends
• Overmold of Onstream drive cups, wheels and related items
• Overmold of third party items
• Assist in creation of new molds
• Assist in casting department inventory management
• Daily casting dept clean up
Education & Experience Required:
• Minimum High School Diploma
• 1 - 3 years of experience in a polymers positions
• Basic lathe Experience
• Basic Computer knowledge and use
• Autobody experience also a bonus
Skills & Competencies Required:
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and listening
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective time management skills; ensures all deliverables are met in an effective manner
• Ability to work with others and or alone
• Able to be function under tight deadlines and stress
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Able to perform repetitive tasks
• Able to competently weigh and measure materials for use using a industrial scale
• Attention to detail is a must
