WTB: Any full size van (not minivans)
Looking for something to park the mountain bikes in and roll out the thermarest for some trips this summer. AKA tent-free living space for the trail parking lots.
Must be mechanically sound as it'll be doing mostly highway/mountain roads
Prefer a gutted interior but have no problem doing it myself
Prefer minimal rust (obviously) so it'll last a few seasons. Might insulate it for winter use too.
Not picky about cargo panels vs. windows
Prefer something interesting like a 70s van, but I've looked at a couple and they've both scared the crap out of me on the highway (one for handling, the other transmission didn't shift right). Totally open to newer cargo or astro vans though.
Budget is <$2000 so I'm not expecting to check all flags, but the more the better. PM me with what you've got.
