I'm looking for some blinds for the tall narrow window beside my front door. They need to be about 9" wide and about 80" tall. I tried looking at the regular places, Home Depot, Rona, and haven't been able to find anything.

Any blinds shop can make these for you. I have very similar windows next to my door and had them done by Mars Blinds.

I was in the same boat, when I was at Rona, I believe they can cut your blinds down to fit but can't remember what the smallest size cut was. It should say on the box. Mine was 8" and the smallest size said you can only cut down to 13" wide. I might just go tinting route

I've been using selectblinds.ca They are excellent and very well priced, especially with larger orders. They always have some sort of promo on. Takes about 3 weeks from online selection to arriving at your door.

I checked them out. They want $93 for a set of blinds in the size I need!

That's way more than I want to spend on covering this tiny window. I got larger blinds for a different window for only ~$15 from Home Depot. I wish I could find a nice cheap alternative.

Ya well the fact that it is 80" long is probably the biggest cost inhibiter. Considering that, please share where you end up getting one from and how much you paid

I had mine cut at Rona, I just gave them the window size and they cut a new set to width.

Frosted window film is what I did for my place.
