Am I missing something here???

I wanted some info on the waterpark place up at Sylvan lake. Hasn't this been operating for some time now? The website says "Grand Opening July 2016". New owners? If so, they need to hire someone other than their 12 year old nephew to do their web design for them.

I find this site: https://www.wildrapids.ab.ca/

And its absolute CRAP! Hardly any info about the facilities. No photo gallery. No map of what rides/slides/amenities there are. It says you can pre-pay for a 2-for-1 adult pass for $70, but it's "out of stock". Which I don't understand, as a day pass is $35. :nut: :dunno:

The only media available is some shitty downlodable VLC file that looked like it was filmed with a 1995 flip phone.

If you go on 'The Experience' page and click the play button, it downloads the video to your computer. I wonder if they've ever heard of YouTube?

Word out this morning is that the park is closing for good at the end of this season. Demolished and made into a park or something by the Town of Sylvan Lake.

There is a press release on the waterparks website and news about it here:

That sucks. There's some really awesome (and sketchy) slides at that place.

I love that park. Guess I'll have to make sure I hit it this summer.
