Just over 242,000km on body, about 147,000km on engine (more details below.)
Some modifications to it.
- Forced Performance 20G turbo.
- TurboXS top mounted intercooler
- 255lph fuel pump
- 850cc fuel injectors
- Tuned for 91 octane by Airboy.
Engine cracked a rod when car was at 175,000km. This was due to oil starvation after the pickup tube cracked. "New" motor with 80,000km was swapped in by Ivan of Ivan's Imports in Vernon, BC. Timing belt and water pump was done at that time. Upgraded oil pickup tube also installed at that time.
Equipment includes.
- 5 speed manual transmission.
- Power windows and locks.
- Heated seats.
- Heated windshield and heated side mirrors.
- Sunroof (doesn't leak. At all.)
- Hid headlights from 2007 STI are installed. Self leveling is not installed. Lenses are starting to yellow, but I haven't polished and sealed them.
- Car has upgraded stereo with bluetooth phone connection for music and phone. NO CD player. Upgraded front and back speakers with amplifiers under the seats. 10" dual voice coil sub in trunk with bass adjustment knob in cubby under head unit.
- Compustar command start. Front windows and trunk release on keyfob.
- Radiator replaced recently. Windshield replaced 06-27-16. Battery replaced May 2016.
Extras
- Winter tires on OEM factory wheels.
- Extra oil filter(s).
Issues
- *** Air conditioning is not functioning and I've removed the belt. No diagnosis was done, at all, to find issue.
- *** Passenger side CV axle is leaking oil at boot. Will need replacement, likely within a year.
- Rust just starting on fenders near corners of wheel wells and some spots just above windshield on roof.
- Engine is nearing service interval for timing belt.
- Headliner has some black marks.
- Car was smoked in, but recent ozone shock treatments reduced smoke smell by about 95%.
- There are a couple larger dents, one on passenger door from rock launched at it by Ditch Witch, one on hood presumably from road debris or a rock.
- Front bumper is ruined. Major cracks on driver side after running into curb while parking at -30C. Bumper is currently held together by zip ties. See photo.
- Minor fender bender recently. Driver's side rear was backed into. Repaired by Concours. Looks good, but now driver's side tail light is new but passenger side is OEM, so some difference in "shinyness."
- Front tires and brake pads will need replacement in a year or so.
- Rear struts will need attention in a year or so.
Car runs good. Starts 100% of the time and I'd confidently get in and drive to Toronto with no concern about breakdown.
That's pretty much it. No trades.
