Rosberg deemed responsible, penalized with no change to standings or championship ( 10 second time penalty on a 14 second gap ). Nothing on the books for Silverstone. Assessed a license penalty for continuing the drive such a damaged car.

Pretty cut and dry from what I saw, Lewis did a fantastic job of being the team player and stayed above it in in the post race. THough that's easy to do when you are the one on top in the incident. Rosberg came out guns blazing and salty blaming lewis right off the bat. Ultimately Lewis was ahead of him through the straight and into the corner and Nico had no business defining the racing line to suit his purposes. It was a perfect storm being the final lap as neither driver knew they would have another chance if they gave up the position to stay clean.

Personally happy to see the result, especially with the BS that went into putting Lewis behind Nico for the last stint in the first place. Bizarre.

Lewis had a slow stop but that happens. IMO Lewis just compromised his outlap. I don't think Mercedes were favoring ROS. For the last lap, Lewis would have likely had him under braking into turn three.
