Description :

This is a 1998 Dodge Neon Ex 2 door with a 2.0 L DOHC engine and 5 speed manual transmission in dark metallic green.

I have owned this car since ~34,000 km and it is currently just over 132,000 km.

It is far from stock but still drives reasonably well and the engine could be returned to stock without much work. As is it is quite fast (faster than stock or Mopar STG2 Srt-4s) and handles very well. As you can see from the list below I have spent over $9000 on the engine, $4000 on the wheels and suspension alone and countless hours getting the car to its current state.

Bump...

To answer some questions:

1) The transmission is stock other than an upgraded clutch and shift bushings. Many people who have swapped 2.4l engines into this chassis retain the stock T-350.

The transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch has never slipped. I did pick a clutch that should slip before anything breaks in the driveline.

2) Boost pressure is only wastegate pressure which is about 7 psi. I have not run any other sort of boost controller. For about half of its turbocharged life I had the wastegate set at about 4 or 5 psi by adjusting the actuating rod slightly to open earlier. I have never seen a boost spike or any creep (not that you ever would with this size turbo/engine/boost/exhaust size combination).
