$24.00/person. About half the cost for a set of these.

Good post roopi. Thanks.

The actual claim link: https://www.autolightclaims.ca/site/claim/intro

Takes 50 seconds with auto-fill.

I bought at least three sets of bulbs BUT: "Each Class Member is entitled to submit only one (1) Claim Form."

These are the weirdest things. No proof of purchase - just claim you bought their product.

Luckily, I submitted my information with a clear conscience as I did indeed but one of those overpriced sets several years ago.

Wow, definitely bought a few sets for my MX-3 wayyyy back in the days. Good Post. I'd take it. Silverstar was the ultra budget ricer bulbs back in the days. Highly recommended by GST_Jeff

Looks like when I posted that it was based on the maximum a claimant could receive but as more people file a claim it gets pro rated down. Maybe I shouldn't have shared this so I could of received a few more pennies. :D

Oh and I haven't received a check. :thumbsdow

This shit was all over RFD last year IIRC, so yea, not surprised at how many people filled in the form.

I bought a bunch too but didn't fill in the form. You're welcome.

I bought a few and also didn't fill it out, I didn't really understand the whole purpose of it.

It's hilarious because I bet a ton of people that didn't even buy them filled out the claim form thinking "haha those idiots, no proof needed" not comprehending that the $30M settlement number doesn't change the dollar per person does...

Sad to see lawsuits like this though, when you read through the claims sylvania is right they did absolutely nothing wrong and probably could have won had they not cared about the cost involved in fighting this. In the end individuals got peanuts so what even was the point?

You shouldn't be driving to a bank to deposit a check.

While you fuckers are laughing, the hold period is vastly different between cheques deposited through the app, the atm, and the in-person teller. I have a zero-hold agreement with my bank, but it only applies to in person papeCheques. In app deposits are five business days or longer.

- - - Updated - - -

This may not matter for nine bucks, but the last truck I sold for twenty three grand it really did.

The mobile deposit is pretty much useless for non-commercial use anyways. I never accept small denomination cheques from people and my bank has a very low limit ($1000/day) making it utterly useless for me.
