Just got back from the flames game!!! they win and i met all the players.

In case you havent noticed i'm a huge fan of hockey and in particular the flames :D :thumbsup:

anyways, friend told me about that when the flames players leave their parking lot they stop and give autographs.... so i'm thinking ya.... its prolly just all the rookies and shit that stop. Boy was i wrong. Iginla still is the nicest guy I've ever met. Met him a couple years back before he bacame a "star" and his ego hasnt gotten any bigger. He stoped, signed a bunch, then this kid asked for a picture with him so not only does iggy say sure, but he parks his car and gets out. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: for Iginla.

So all in all i ended up with basicly everyone autographs bringing my collection up to a frickin' tonne :D

If anyone cares i'll post up a bunch of pics of what i have :dunno:

Mario Lemieux (long story, but we snuck into the lower bowl area under the stands and got to meet all the Penguins players. this was 2 years ago, so mario, kovalev, hrdina, etc, etc) so i got a picture with mario and a signed Flames program.

Domink Hasek signed flames program (he is of course on the front) this one is awaiting more $$$ so i can frame it

damn i wish i lived in a hockey city! i remember as a kid waiting months for autographs to come in the mail. i have a valeri bure when he still played for montreal, but you can tell his "autograph" was printed out on a computer. Pavel actually signs all of his, i got one of his too. i also have a teemu selane and a gretzky and a couple others, alot from montreal.

It looks real to me, My friend has several real Pavel Autographs and they look just like that :thumbsup:.....nice iginlas too! that signed die-cut rookie is pretty sweet!

I have a few autographs, i would like to get more, just dont have the time/effort :tongue:....I have a John Vanbiesbrouck NHLPA be-a-player card( from like '95, he use to be my favorite player when i was young, so that was sweet), Selanne and Kariya 5x7's from when they were anaheim team mates, those i sent letters to the players for...... i met Gordie Howe and Glann Hall when i was a kid( about 10 ) and got them to sign a a picture of the Stanley Cup, that was awesome....i have a few signed cars that came in packs, there nice, but just not the same as meeting the player.

Iginla plays at my course here in edmonton during the summer so i've had the chance to play a few rounds with him. By far one of the most down to earth pro's around. The first car he bought when he turned pro was a early 90's 911 for his dad so you know the guy has his priorities straight. When i last heard (my brother played junior hockey with him and they're still close) he was driving a 911 turbo with 19" HRE chrome rims in the back and 18" in the front.:bigpimp:
