my Taiwanese friend and i were having a discussion about it ... he insisted it was a planned attempt to get pity votes so that his party can get back into power....
man... i sure hope that pro-independence party doesn't get voted - China will be one ticked off big brother.

interesting thing is that they don't mention much in ANY paper about police actively seeking the shooter :dunno:

a LOT of people think it's a setup. wouldnt be surprised if he was never even shot.
the stomach is one of the most painful places to be shot i hear. But maybe the shooter tripped or got nudged or some crap at a critical moment and thats why he got it so low. maybe the guy was just a terrible shot.
ok, read the whole thing, he just got grazed so its not like it would have been fatal at all.

well in taiwan...most people dont own guns so they dont go out shooting and crap. the only people who owns a gun are mobsters and sometimes cops. so i wouldnt be surprised if they missed.
