Random question, selling my boat (and trailer). I know if you sell a vehicle, you have to fill out the thing on the back of the registration and give it to the new owner so they can register it. However, with a permanent trailer tag, there is nothing to fill out on the back.. So do i just need to do a Bill of Sale and that's it?

Include the trailer on the boats bill of sale (write in "c/w 19xx ezloader, sn #####), and remember to keep your permanent trailer plate for the next one as the registration is lifetime, so you only pay to switch it to your next trailer, even if it's years later.

Yep, you are selling two vehicles at one time. Put them both on the bill of sale, keep the plate.

so registration pager doesn't get transferred, and he doesn't need it to get new trailer plate for it?

The buyer will need to get their own new trailer plate (yours is registered to you for life, non-transferrable) and can do so simply by showing a bill of sale with the pertinent info.
