I thought I saw a post about someone who can hook up fellow beyonders on parts at a Honda dealership. Do we still have anyone here who can do this? Flick me a PM if you can.

If there is someone out there please send me a PM as well.

What I've been doing is using:

https://www.torontohondaparts.com/

Adding the parts, using the coupon code super20 and then taking a screenshot into the dealer. They generally won't match the price, but they'll cut me a break on the parts - anywhere from 10-20% to bridge the gap between the online price and their net price. After factoring in shipping, the price here ends up being pretty close so I just get the part locally.

Do local dealers typically match online prices? That would be more valuable than having a hookup, potentially.

The only guys who sell Honda Parts online in Canada is Toronto Honda Parts
once you factor in the Shipping fee and the wait times.
Buying from your local dealer is about the same.

And with the Dollar so low, buying from the US doesn't make much sense, especially if they ship if via UPS (brokerage fees like crazy)

(at least that is what i tell most people when they come to my counter  )

Plus buying from your local dealer is much faster
if the part is in stock in a Canadian Depo, we get them next business day.
You can't do that with online stuff without paying an arm and a leg

It's just a smaller part but I guess it's just hard to justify paying the $90 that Calgary Honda wants for a $17 online part! I'm in no rush but I thought I would check to see if I can find it cheaper.
