i was wondering if theres a place in calgary where i can buy air bags to raise my car cause right now its pretty low and when i go over bumps it scrapes so it would be nice to raise it and then when im in the city i can lower it. Also how much is the air bag suspension like the ones that u have to go to a air tank to fill up?

You have several options to look at. You can do air bags or hydros. Hydros are fast and airbags allow you to keep somewhat of a usefull suspention. I would go with airbags personally. Then you have to decide if you want to go with a compressor or a big ol cylinder. The cylinder you have to fill up. I would go with a compressor/tank setup.

There are soo many types of compressor/tank setups. You have to look at CFM, duty cycle, tank volume fitting type and all sorts of stuff.

If all you want to do is go up and over bumps then get a small 12v compressor with say a 6 gal airtank. 4 2500lb bags with at least 1/2" fittings. I would do solenoid vavles instead of manual just because they are more reliable.

What kind of car is it. I am sure you can get airstruts that would make bagging you car ALOT easier.

ya i was thinking about putting in a compressor but dosent that cost a whole shit load the ones im thinkin about are the ones where u fill up at like air tank where u fill ur tires or is that a bad idea? Ya its for a 92 sc2 saturn (ya i know its a saturn but im tryin to make it look good just costs a whole lot cause everything has to be shiped from the states) What are airstruts and how do they work and how much?

Hey Pyro,

Yea most adjustable suspension is illegal unless it comes from the factory. The best way to get around it is not it use it on the street but for just getting over speed bumps.
I have a 1/2 kit left over that was ordered and never picked up so I will PM you with the details of the kit. Let me know if you are interested.

Ghost.

PS. All the stuff is brand new!!!

why don't you call some shops and find out if they make them. If your so worried about bumps, go the smart route, get coilovers or springs that dont sit so low

most coilover applications will allow you to raise it an inch or two
