Well, I just bought 16s for my crx......but after putting them on, they make my steering wheel wobbly (left to right, and vice versa). What could be the problem? They're all pressurized properly and all are bolted on tight.

sounds like they werent balanced properly, take them back to the shop that mounted them

i would say balance as well.

when does it wobble? at high speeds, all the time? an rpm range?

Are the wheels hub-centric? If not, did you install the correct hub-centering rings? This is the #2 cause of steering wheel vibration with aftermarket wheels.

Mine use to wobble cuz one of my rims were slightly bent. That could be another possibilty but the one you don't want.

ummm... don't worry there is nothing wrong with the wheels. I assume you are just not used to the wider wheels on crappy city roads. teh groves in the roads make the wheels jerk. Go find a smooth section of pavement, like a off street and see if it happends there.

I know on my 300 if the wheels are torqued on too tightly that may also cause the wheel vibration. check that

the steering wheel doesn't vibrate, it moves from left to right. I find it almost impossible to drive when I'm on deerfoot.

Better hope they are hub-centric, most generic knock off rims are not.

CENTER RINGS, i had the same problems and if that doesn't fix the steering then its probably the balance
