:dunno: That's the internet as seen from outside the great firewall of China and Russia. If you look at it from China and Japans perspective their internet pipes are much thicker than ours *that's what she said*.

That overhead view through the arctic is the proper orientation for this type of map, as the cables are all pretty much in the northern hemisphere.

Location means nothing. A true Russian hacker would simply take a plane trip to Sub-Saharan Africa and mooch off some free Wifi while downloading the repository of the US secrets for the last 30 years... Would probably be doable overnight.

Similar results, minus the "customer" info, which showed as RU above

Why is everyone using 198.50.177.202 when the report say it's 142.10.38.212?

because they said the range 198.50.117.202 is A Canadian IP address. but it belongs to RU
