I managed to get one even though I said I wouldn't
Looks like both bundles are gone now, the same with EB. I wonder why amazon didn't have a pre-order up though.

I won't be buying any accessories though, wtf at those costs.

I suppose it's time to switch it up. Been using the WiiU for mostly MK8 and Mario Party.

So are Wii U games playable on this? Or just rebuy everything?

No wii u, this uses cartridges like the 3DS. Not sure on digital but I would assume not.

I'm still playing my gamecube...the switch looks interesting! Think I missed the boat on the preorder... Why does Nintendo always have such limited release?? Guess I'll be waiting awhile until I can buy one.

Yes  Still working good!
Have been buying some new games, didn't realize how much some of the games are worth  The retro game store in calgary has some awesome deals. Can't find smash bros though... only online for >$100

I like to pre-order just to make people salty who try to tell me how to spend my money :D As a kid I always had to wait until they mad many discounts before buying so this is nice.

Pre-ordering games with buggy PC ports is still where they get me from time to time (Mafia 3 Grrrr), hardware I have had much greater success.

Bad consumers, Bad! what have you learned about nintendo launches... there is never enough stock, they will have a fair amount on launch day but then nothing for months. i took the wii almost a year before it was stable and readily available on shelves.

I'd rather go in and pick it up at my convenience, not go to the midnight launch or stand in a line of 300 people waiting for the store to open.

Pre-ordering systems isn't that bad, just games. Took me like a month to find a Wii originally and it drove me nuts

I have a feeling this will be Nintendo's last console. It will likely do fine at launch but I feel this one will bomb like the last one.

The only thing i am really unhappy about with the whole thing is nickle and diming, the system its self is a fair price, but it should come with a game like all the other systems do/have, also the accessory prices are a little high, extra controllers, pair of joycons is $80USD? pro controller is $70USD? even just to have a functinal joycon grip that charges the controllers is an additional $30USD and not the same as the one included with the bundle that does not charge them, just too much for nintendo.
