mm good question.. i' d just webcam it or use a camcorder.. so y do u even need to flim ur screen??

Anyways, I think you could use a Tv-Out on a video card to hook your computer up to a TV/VCR and then tape it - although you may not be able to edit it in the way that you would like and it would be stuck on VHS. I haven't personally tried it but I believe it would work. Using a camcorder on a computer screen doesn't work well because you get those horizontal lines - I believe there is a way to change the frequency or refresh rate or something along that lines of your monitor so that a camcorder will record it properly though.

haha, capture of me making the above post :). My typing seems slow and erratic, it's cuz I'm running on a celeron 350 here haha. It's much better on a current 1ghz+ system.

I use a program called Snagit 6.0.. does video and still captures of desktops.. pretty handy program.
