View Full Version : What's a good place to buy wide designer frames?

Ok so many years ago I bought a Giorgio Armani frame for my glasses, and I loved it.

Unfortunately that style/model is discontinued and my glasses are pretty worn out.

I'm looking for a new pair of glasses, but i have a very wide face/head. My pupillary distance (PD) isn't too large, but my face's width results in me needing larger frames.

Any recommendations on a source that can provide my big head a decent pair?

I don't mind using online retailers either. Plz help me out =)

I've been to costco, lenscrafter, pearl vision, eyecicle, and a few of the smaller optical centres. No luck.

If/When I find wide frames, they're usually very very simple, and don't look that great. :banghead:

I am in the same boat as you. Finding wide frames is tough.

The ones I found fit me best locally are Chrome Hearts at Brass Monocle but they are $$$$$$

Haven't found anything in the 3-600 range that really fit. My current ones are a bit small but the best I could find at the time. The arms are just bent out a bit and look like an old TV antenna. lol

Ask the next person that you see in Ramsay.
