My house is only about 6 years old but the front door frame appears to have shifted and it appears the door is crooked and has some gaps that you can see it when its sunny and the lock is a bitch to close.

Anyone on this forum a framer or know how to fix this? I'm assuming to fix it right you'd have to reframe the door.

Post some pictures. Try shimming the hinges and/or screwing a long lag bolt through the hinge into the framing

Yup, pictures. Myself and three other guys just finished installing just under 1,200 doors at a job site in Redstone and it's quite amazing how much one can move a door around with a few shims. Also, have you checked to see if the frame is square, level and plumb?

Will post some pics when I get home tonight, its very slight but I wanted to install a lock that I can lock and unlock via my phone.

I can't do that now cause i have to hold the door shut in order to lock it now.
