Has anyone tried this? It looks like it solves the big issues for WiFi cameras. 2 year power on 2 AA batteries, video is stored on their servers, cameras are $99 USD each (with sync module), or less when you buy more, simple looking app.

2 year on AA claim is questionable. Especially outdoor. Those 720p Arlo can only do 6 months with minimal traffic, and less than 2 months if traffic is heavy.

Does anyone know if this can be hooked up to my own DVR? Or does it have to record to Blink's servers?

If it can't, can anyone recommend a camera that is capable of recording to my own DVR?
