Is an 04 civic a 7th gen or 8th gen?

I just wanna know if an 04 Civic Si is a 7th generation civic or an 8th generation civic? and if it is a 7th gen civic will all parts for the 7th gen civic fit on the 04 civic even though there has been cosmetic changes to the exterior from the 00-03 civic to the 04 civic?

Still a 7th gen civic. Not all parts will fit an 04 from older models.
