Anyone catch the 3 released episode of thia show? WTF.... I thought it was period piece off the commericials i saw on TV but its actually a dystopian timeline during now time.

Seems to me the book (1985) and the movie (1990) was set in a dystopian future, said to be early 2000s.
So sounds about right. Yet another remake that we really didn't need.

I think if there is no better time for this reboot than now. Hulu hit a tiny jackpot, there won't be as much press if Hillary is prez.

right, thyy've hit it and it resonated with the people well. really enjoying the show. heard there's gonna be season 2, though it will be not according to the book i guess. but still interesting what they'll come up with
