so, besides finding a sheet of plexiglass and making something, I was wondering if there was a better way.

We have a standup AC unit and want to put it to use in the bedroom, but we have windows that open like this...

Was wondering, are there any ready made options that I can buy and install that will allow me to hook the AC vents up?

I think Lowe's sells them...

It's basically a replacement screen for a double casement window - solid plastic - with a vent hole.

Probably cheaper to cut your own now that you know how it's done ;)

when i lived in my rental place i just stuck the vent piece in the window and taped a garbage bag to the rest. i didn't care how it looked when it was +30 out.

I use plywood, painted white. But we have a window unit, not a floor one with ducts, and I take the window completely off.

Duct tape and ducting. Carving up a cardboard box can work too.
