My '08 WRX has been the victim of a hit and run at least 5 times now. I know its low and small, but its bright red. The count is more like 20 if you include loonie sized dents and scrapes. Anybody else own a vehicle that takes it up the *ss from strangers more than this car? (only 100,000 km and looks like crap)

This wasn't new either. Doesn't make it better when you find your mirror broken, front bumper corner ripped open or the rear hatch pushed in.

My old S13 240 was hit three times while parked in front of my house. It's smaller than a wrx but was also bright red. First time we saw it happen, second time was my brothers friend doing a U-turn, third time was a hit and run and I ended up having to replace the entire door myself.

I haven't parked there since.

I find it's more the places you park than the car itself. I don't think anyone is going to hit something and run based on the model. I suppose lower cars will statistically be more likely to get hit, and the more popular a car is the more you will hear about it, but beyond that.. location, location, location.

Got hit and run on my WRX too. Drunk driver took the corner like Ken Block and slide right into my car. Must have ruined his car but he still drove away.

Had someone slam into the back of my trailer when it was attached to my truck. Bent the fold down gate and wrecked the hitch ball and receiver. It's a custom made steel trailer. Took the hit like a champ. Sucked having to repair the trailer and replace the hitch. I'm assuming someone took the back route home from the bar.
Another was my '94 Nissan hardbody. In a parking lot someone bumped it. Only really hit the tire, little bit of the fender was hit but it was rusty so I didn't care, but they decided to park somewhere else in the lot to try and hide and someone saw it and left me a note.
Work truck is a 2015 GMC 2500. Couple door dings in it. I try my best to park out of the way in a parking lot since it's a big unit. I was sitting in it one day when someone door dinged me. I confronted the person and they denied it.
I don't think it matters what you drive. No one targets specific vehicles. Accidents happen, but most drivers are just dicks and don't want to own up hitting/dinging your car.

I was really hoping it was going to be "Hot Chicks"... it feels like the time is right for a chick magnet car thread on Beyond
While I want to say Miata I'm going to have to settle for Trabant. Everyone comes up to those things, somewhat inexplicably it's an attention magnet! You just have to ignore everyone that isn't a hot chick :bigpimp:

Modestly jacked up F-350, black.
Couldn't believe how many girls would comment on buddy's truck.

That's because they're usually stolen when the hit and run occurs

My Nissan 180SX was hit three times while parked in three different places. Two were hit and runs.

But are they hit and runs, or Old Asian Lady Driver Self-Induced?
