Description :

This is a competent, reliable daily driver that just so happens to have relatively large General Grabber AT2s fitted to it on new Ranger steelies.

We put this car together for a banger rally down the Forestry Trunk Road this last weekend, on which it did very well. You could drive this car anywhere in Alberta without worries, especially if you were to install coil spring spacers.

The trunk has tons of room, and the cabin has enough seats to carry all of your buddies.

To make the car safer, we replaced the front left hard brake line, all soft brake lines and the rear drum shoes and hardware.

Because it had been sitting for awhile prior to our purchase of it, we changed the oil and filter, replaced the air filter, and installed a new set of plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Low and high beam sealed beam bulbs were also replaced at this time, as well as one door switch.

We also replaced the "firestarter" stock alternator and harness with a "3G" alternator, which provides more amps than stock (130A) and won't cause the same fires that these cars are famous for.

The interior has been freshly detailed by Nik at In the NIK of Time: the seats are extremely clean.

The only mechanical problems with the car are that FM radio reception does not seem to work, and that the windshield is cracked. It has had the air conditioning converted to R134A, but it does not seem to work (or I don't know how to activate it). Otherwise, this car could give you years of faithful service.

Extras :
If sold at my asking price, the car will include the stock wire mesh wheels, centre caps, and tires, though those tires are old and should be replaced. The Grabbers currently on the car are new and have plenty of tread depth. I will also throw in any spare parts we have, including new RockAuto items that we did not have time to install.

Asking Price : $1500
