Well from what I observed over the past 5-6 days, fuel prices have remained pretty much unchanged
Now this being the end of the July long weekend, were the fuel retailers asleep or do all the usual beyond long weekend increased fuel price conspiracists have a different theory for what has happened this time?

Real? I paid 0.86 cents on Thursday. 0.99 yesterday.

Still a number of stations in the central north and northwest were at 88.9 or 90.9 all weekend - like I said my observations. Others experiences may have been different.

stations in edmonton tried bumping it to 97, but most stayed at 86 in my area all weekend without even attempting an increase. Even the flying J and other shell stations, the first place to raise prices in my experience didn't stray from the 80s

I was going to say that I see 99.9 everywhere before CBC did a lowest gas price ever story and it dropped back down to 93.9 the same day.

Centre Street and McKnight gas prices haven't varied more than 2 cents for the past 10 days - 88.9 to 90.9

The Petrova has raised their prices twice, once to 99.9 and another time to 93.9 but the Shell and Esso never followed. Other parts of the city are 92.9 to 99.9, not bringing up Costco because l don't shop there so their gas prices aren't applicable in my world.

My last tank of gas in Vancouver before my drive home to Calgary was 133.9!

Okotoks has gotten pretty predictable, Shell and Petro Can usually lead the way.. They have this drop drop bump pricing schedule. The gas price will drop by 5-6 cents for about 3 days, then drop another 2 for one day, then bang, its up 10+ cents and stay up for longer than it is down.. It doesn't seem to follow any of the rack pricing of fuel, its like they are playing an averages game so they can say the average price of fuel was XX when people bitch, but not saying it was higher for the majority of the month...

Petrocan taking another stab at it at Centre and McKnight with their current price raised to 102.9 while Esso and Shell still at 90.9

I love when gas stations across the street are different. A petrocan and esso right next to each other, one at 86.9 the other at 96.9.
