Up for sale is my 1994 BMW 325is MTechnic. The link below does a great job of explaining exactly what this car is and how rare they are,

https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/hsx/2010/04/Eye-of-the-Hurricane---1994-BMW-M-Design-325is-Coupe/3011911.html

But to give you the coles notes,

Back in 1994 before BMW launched the 1995 E36 M3 in North America they tested the market with 150 of these 325is M Technics which came with all the M3 exterior parts (front bumper, side skirts, mirrors), modified M tech suspension (firmer shocks, thicker anti roll bars), LSD, Hurricane cloth interior, and BMW motorsport door Handles. Lastly the cars were fitted with 17x7.5 inch BBS RC041 Two piece forged rims and all cars came painted in Alpine white.

My car for sale is an unmodified version, save for a Dinan front strut tower brace and Dinan exhaust.

It was imported into Canada by the previous owner back in 2003 and he owned it until I purchased it from him in March of this year. Since being imported it was never winter driven.

The car currently has ~142k Miles ( ~225k Kms). There is absolutely no rust on the car anywhere and the paint shines up beautifully. There are rock chips on the front bumper that were touched up by the previous owner but new ones have since appeared. There is also a touch up on the driver side rear view mirror.

The interior is in excellent condition, the only blemishes are a small hole in the driver side bolster and a rip in the shift knob. The seats are hurricane cloth in the center and the bolsters are alcantara.

I sourced a set of BBS RC041(17x7.5 front) and RC042 (17x8.5rear) from Toronto that were resurfaced in white, these are stock wheels that came with the car brand new.

I still have the style 30’s (grey wheels) if any potential buyer prefers them, but I highly suggest keeping the BBS wheels as they are hard to find here. I put on brand new Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 rubber (225/45R17 front, 245/40/R17 rear). The tires have less than 200km on them as I just purchased them 2 weeks ago (have receipt). The Style 30 wheels are also wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport AS3’s (225/50/R16 all around).

After purchasing the car I took it to Shenys Auto trend (German Car Specialists) to be looked over and ended up spending $1800 in maintenance on the car. We went through the entire cooling system and fixed anything that needed to be replaced and the drive shaft flex disc was replaced ($500) as it was showing signs of wear. There are other things that were done which I can’t recall from memory right now. I will update this add once I take a look at my invoice again as I work out of town.

With all that being said I am asking $9,500 with the BBS wheels or $8000 with the Style 30’s (grey wheels).

These cars are some of the rarest E36’s out there other than the 45 Eurospec M3’s that were brought into Canada in 1994. This interior was only every used again in the E36 M3 LTW’s so if you want an E36 that no one else will have (from my research it’s the only one in Canada) this is the car for you.

I think I covered almost everything, but if you have any further questions I will gladly answer them.

Lastly while the car was at Sheny’s they completed an inspection, so for any potential buyers you can provide your insurance company with this inspection as it was done with in the last 6 months. This car also qualifies for Hagertys modern classic insurance so you could insure it for as little as $200-$300/year as well.
