Just read in the news that John McCain has brain cancer. This explains why he was acting so strangely in the videos that were released recently. It's too bad, he is one of the great leaders of the US, but then again I guess he is getting up there in age.

He was one of the most militant leaders of the US. With his passing so to could the entire role of US dominance at knifepoint.

Britain has had leaders that led by death as well, some of its most prosperous eras. China as well, it seems the more people you kill - the stronger the nation becomes. The only era that was "prosperous" and did not have brutal killers in power was probably the renaissance and maybe Indias golden age.

Not that I necessarily agree that is the best way for things to be run.

That explains his weird questioning at the Comey inquiries. That's a sad development.

Yeah let's be real here, even republicans don't like him because he waffles on the agenda at very odd times. Now, as someone who suffered a lot for his country and continued to serve in the way he best saw to do so throughout his entire life, I can respect that, but he never did much for the US as a politician as he always seemed to be on either an overwhelming majority or an oddball dissent when it didn't matter. I'm torn on him because on the one hand he was the last Republican presidential nominee who would correct his base when they would scream out insane conspiracies, but on the other hand he brought Sarah Palin into the limelight who was kind of the beta test for Donald Trump

Regardless, it's a shame about this medical problem. Hope he recovers, although I'm not sure if this is even a possibility

Edit: VV that's terrible :(

no recovery for GBM, it takes all. No miracle cure for this one. Gord from The Hip, he has already way outlived a typical prognosis. My sister was 8 miserable years. There was no quality of life, she couldn't walk, talk, read, but clung to life for years.

Brave old John McCain made it to Washington to take away healthcare from millions of Americans today. The same health care he is receiving.

What a piece of shit.
