I have a 2002 CRV currently with 333,00km. I bought it at 212,00km (Manual).
Ive changed the struts, Rear Brakes, power steering pump, both front axels. All was down to natural wear and tear over the last five years.
Its a chain timing belt. They run fine so long as the oil does not get low. Check maintenance history for oil changes that’s the main one. Spark plugs will be due for a change at that mileage.
As written above, check clutch for slippage.

If you find a Oil leak, it may not be so bad (depending what it is though), one of the main seals has to be replaced on those engines. It’s a normal thing and does not cost that much, I can’t remember what it is called, but I had it done on mine last year.

If you’re not sure, call Hu’s garage (Honda) and chat with Ryan. Tell him the English guy with the CRV that does not die sent ya. Lol.

Valve adjustments are also important on the K24's for longevity. Many people neglect to do them every 150K or so.
