WTF?

"I am extremely happy here and l believe that here we could have the package to win a championship," Alonso said at Monza.

"We will see what the proposals are," he revealed. "If they are very good, maybe two years could work. Maybe one year, maybe three, maybe five - l am young enough."

In a remarkable U-turn on previous perceptions the 36-year-old was poised to quit McLaren at the end of the year, Alonso has even suggested he could sign another multi-year deal with the team.
The former world champion has also described claims he has told McLaren he will leave unless they drop Honda as "absolute rubbish".

Ugly Goomba for the win. Count Von Messerschmidt hawking. Im going to go out and say he might get 4th.. maybe third. The Red barons can't handle high speed. Kinda funny this is their own turf.

Alonso only saying that cos he checked his bank balance last night. He realised he has been eating out and spending too much at olive garden instead of staying home and eating home made sushi. He needs the moola.

Where are the rest of the Goomba devotes on here..? Come come......... kneel before your god..

Place would be insane if Ferrari gets a 1-2.
I can't see them gettis antyhing less than podiums. Merc still got the edge in quali but they're really quick in the races.

This will be a interesting race because Ferrari has to adhere to engine oil burning clamp down and where as Merc has to meet only the Pre Monza level.

No.

Ferrari will have to adhere to the engine oil burning clamp down only if they introduce a new engine into the pool and use it here. Their old engines in the pool, just like all of Merc's old engines in the pool, adhere to the Pre Monza level.

You are right about the Pool of engines. I thought they are introducing a new engine starting Monza.

They're going to wait until Singapore where they can really capitalize on it. it's a Ferrari and Vettel track.

Its so weird looking at this tracks and others. Especially when you have raced on them.

This one in particular...Monza. Ive gone around it in a RX7 and M3 so many times. It really is a joy to drive around.

Its really my favourite track to race around. So simple and yet so good. God I love Gran Turismo.

My favorite thing about Monza, low downforce, F1 oversteer.

David Coulthard actually had a way bigger and better drift there in the late 90's. A shame I haven't been able to find a clip of it over the years.

Aside from the 2h delay, that was an entertaining quali. You won't believe who's starting 2nd! Haha

Jesus, what was Bottas doing out there? The Merc was clearly the faster car out there and he couldn't even get on the 2nd row with the RBR's penalties.

Yeah that was a awesome drive by Stroll and Ocon. You can really see the power difference between them and the flying Goomba.

WTF happened to Ferrari..? Lol..

First 10 minutes were entertaining, but then it was such a snooze fest. That Merc is amazing on high power tracks. Bottas gave up those spots so easily on the first lap, knowing he's going to get them back in no time. Verstappen has had some shit luck this year. If it's not an engine problem, it's something else.

They pulled him with like 2 laps to go. Don't know if it was a real problem, or just why bother situation.

If you retire for any technical reason, you get a free gearbox change. That's why so many teams retire cars with a couple of laps to go if they're not in the points. The technical reason could be anything wrong with the car.

merc dominated that race made it pretty boring. i actually watched indycar today too and it wasn't a typical demolition derby, rossi showed some good pace. the pit boxes are so tight in indycar i thought the front left tire changer was going to get clipped every time.

This was the best Monza race in a few years because of the mixed up field thanks to a wet qualifying. Ricciardo pulling off some of his old tricks, Alonso's "where's Palmer?", Bottas getting to 2nd, and Verstappen's clashes made it entertaining.
