How common is Facebook group only selling of cars these days?

I quit Facebook a while ago but now I'm curious, am I missing out on potential cars for sale if I'm not in those Facebook groups?

I been looking for a Rogue and my coworker sent me one from a Facebook group and I tried to find it on kijiji, wasn't there....is it becoming the case now that more people use Facebook than kijiji?

Reason I ask is because kijiji use differs in different cities...for example, in Vancouver, it's almost unheard of to use kijiji for cars.

Not sure about cars but I've had success selling other cheap items on FB rather than Kijiji. I guess it's because people have a profile with a face tied to it and are more reliable than [email protected] replying to a kijiji ad.

I would never think to even check FB when shopping for a car.

Yes, you absolutely are missing out.

It's crazy, because facebook is absolute GARBAGE for selling anything, and the search is a pile of garbage, but mouth breathers use it, so a lot of good deals pop up.

It is absolutely terrible to use though. I hate it.
