cruisin along last night and a talon turbo comes flying up on us im in my buddies car. so my buddy goes watch this and lets him go like 10 cars ahead and then all of a sudden outta no where we were gone. bye bye talon. the look on the guys face was priceless. have you been beaten by and mx-3 lately??????:rofl:

Did you ever put into perspective, after that Talon flew by you two, that the Talon slowed down to drive at the normal speed limit? Whilst you and your "buddy" flew by him at a high rate of speed? Which is why you couldn't see him anymore? :rofl:

1G talons came in FWD or AWD. Only in the states could you find a 2G FWD Talon.

To be honest with you, I dont care if that precidia had 5000 hp... you dont WIN a race by flooring it 10 car lengths back when the guy inst expecting it...
thats just stupid.. like really really stupid..
if you know your car is fast , then why cant you race like a man and not a chick in a chick car :poosie:

if you was accelerating you don't need a 5 pt harness...accel holds you back in your seat...mind you if your friend has big ass brembos all around with 6 piston calipers and decided to stomp on the brakes after whizzing past...you'd prolly need a 5 pt harness then

oh and for that part about racing like a real man... it was the first time in the car he just got it finished last night so he wanted to show me how it could accelerate we werent racing,com'n man think about it.

Right now I hear alot of hot air...

Heck I could come on here and say I beat a Viper passing him when the guy is cruising along...does that mean my car can beat it...hell no. Now don't get me wrong, maybe there is this powerful MX-3...and that's awesome to see a car considered to be weak as a sleeper. Just make sure the race is a race...and that both guys know whats happening :poosie:

This one time at band camp...I flew by this stock Talon on deerfoot while he was doing the speed limit....man I roasted him...what a race! Better tell all my friends!!!

There is a flute in the story somewhere too :D

Yo buddy your getting worked. Don't worry everyone does ricer fly-bys. Next time remember to have back up (pics, vids) before you make a statement like a MX-3 smoking a Talon. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it would take a lot.

Well, there is a difference between i raced a talon and beat the nuts off of it AND... ya my buddie decided to floor it, man was it ever fast!
if the talon wasnt racing why add it in the story..
Like sure i know its cool being in a fast car and you want to post about it, but the lesson of the story is ricer fly bys are gay

I went to a light and this 40 year old'ish guy was in a bran new yellow celica! I had the girl in the car ( so i dont race ) but i gave him a little rev just so i could laugh about it, cause come on he is 40 i assumed he woudnt race...
well the light goes and he burns rubber HARD.. he was punching it ... well needless to say by the end of second gear i slowed down because it was a gong show ... i put up my hand to wave nice race , and the old pecker just flew by me with out even looking over... it was pathetic!
dont ask me how this story relates... well iknow how it relates, people that do ricer flybys after losing a race are stupid, specially when they are 40 and should know better!
ya im rabbaling, at least i took a GTS celica like it was going in reverse.. :thumbsup:

dude convict get over it! we all know i didnt expalin myself very well ok! yes we didnt start out in a straight line side by side. but yes the talon was giving all it had trust me. pulled very very fast and was still trying to pull but when we started accelerating we were gaining on him quick. thats all that happened now relax.

Guys I know mx-3's are know for being slow as fuck, but they can be made fast just like any civic can, if you're skeptic go to:

you guys just dont get it do you? this post wasnt to start a race with a dsm person. it was just to tell about a car that is very rare or uncommon. youve gone and taken it waaayyyyy to far. see how nobody posts about it anymore except me and you guys? thtas cause they dont give a shit anymore its old get over it. wow you ran a 13.2 i know lots of cars that run 13's and they dont have the advantage of AWD. and as far as making fun of his car, this board isnt to put down peoples ideas that they come up with, like putting a turbo jspec motor into a mx-3. so if you know your gonna beat him why hassle so much??????? i dont see the point of continuly posting putdowns? how would you like it if i said your car was a piece of shit and you should be so lucky that its still on the road.? what you dont know about his car is that its been in numerous SPL comp. and done very well its also not going to be just a race car, its also a show and shine car. how many of your cars look as nice as his???? as one of my close friends put it "the harder i look at new talons the more it looks like a sebring" heres the best part, he drives a talon too!
my point is get over it its done its over. if you see him on the streets race him but dont expect him to show up to race you.

we're just playing...trying to get him to actually show up maybe? Someday I would actually like to see this elusive mx-3, and see if it's all you say it is. If it is...then mad props to him for all the hard work he's put into the car....

thats cool thnx for apologizing, i just dont think its fair for someone to put alot of hard work into his car to be dissed. youll see it someday when i dunno nobody and i mean nobody can get ahold of him but im sure ill hear from him this weekend and when i do well set up a meeting palce where everybody can go meet and check it out. and make the non-belivers the believers:thumbsup:
