So much happening in the last 2 weeks.

McLaren switches to Renault, Toro Rosso switches to Honda.

Sainz switches to Renault and rumoured as early as Malaysia with Gasly taking his Toro Rosso seat.

Palmer is certainly out, but how soon is still in question.

Kubica released from Renault contract and exploring a drive with Williams?

Alonso extension still TBD. Realistically, I don't think McLaren aero is a match for RBR still, but we will see in 2018 I guess. RBR will also switch to Honda in 2019, and with Alonso's luck....

Am I the only one that does not think McLaren's chassis (and gearbox for that matter) is as good as they think it is?

Running a whole bunch of wing and having good in corner stability because the engine doesn't have enough HP to break traction doesn't mean the chassis is sorted.

Sounds like palmer doesn't plan on leaving though
Exciting times, should be some further info on the mctoronda after FP1 it looks like.

I was hoping McLaren would stay with Honda. Now that they switch to Renault, they don't have Honda for an excuse if they don't perform. With the deal, at least Honda is still in F1 but I just don't have a lot of confidence with team performing. Rumours are that Red Bull will switch to Honda after 2018.

As much as I like a comeback story, I just think his time has passed. He came back and drove in testing... good for him. That should be the end of the story. He is not the driver that he once was. There are so many younger drivers that deserves the chance to race in F1.

Williams has some sponsorship clause with Martini that says they need an older driver IIRC.

Alonso, Hamilton, Massa, Raikkonen, Vettel and Hulkenberg are 30+ and are still showing up the younger guys. Kubica isn't that old at 32 compared to half that list.
I don't really care about age if they put in the lap times.

Pretty pumped for tomorrow's race. When is the last time Mercedes qualified 5-6 on pure pace?
Amazing lap by Vettel, but I'm dreaming of a Red Bull 1-2.

Oh yeah, and both McLarens in Q3.

Lol vettel. Shitty that Alonso got the boot from that.

If Vettel gets points on his license for this, will he have enough for a race ban?

Looks like Raikonen was to blame. The bull had nowhere to go.

That was all Vettel. Schumacher chop before clearing the Red Bull.

Hammertime is in full swing.
It was all finger boys fault. It's funny hoe Ferrari is blaming Max for this. They must be watching the race with red glasses on...LOL

Ferrari tweeted it was Max taking them out. Ferrari just clarified that’s not their position. Fake news! Haha.

Just saw the accident from another angle.
Wtf was the Count doing? He did not need to do the Scumey chop against the red bull.
This is going to cost the red barons dearly.

Goomba must have been helicoptering his dick whilst dancing around his cabin after the race.

Wtf and Alonso - if there's a new way to crash out of/not finish a race - it'll find him. Hamilton must've shit his pants to see what was happening in front of him.

Shocked we had the 1st wet race in 10 years in Singapore. Definitely Christmas for Lewis.

Magnussen vs Massa was awesome but too bad Magnussen retired. https://streamable.com/sv74r

Nico Hulkenberg now surpasses Adrian Sutil for most races without a podium at 128!

Glad Singapore was renewed to 2021.

What happened to Ricciardo? I thought he would have taken the fight to Lewis after how qualifying went.

Edit: low gearbox oil pressure. Would've been great to watch.

What are your thoughts on the stewards dealing with Count Von Messerschmitt in regards to the accident?

It seems they left it, as him loosing vital points is enough. He has a right to change direction I guess, but 'should he have moved over' is another issue. I mean if he was up next to the Goomba, I understand the Schumey Chop. But this was a Red Bull for heaven sake. All he had to do was drive straight.

I guess he is sitting in his study back at Castle Wolfenstine feeling bitter and mumbling to himself.

"Count Von Messerschmitt" is getting away with far too much this season. Not impressed with FIA :banghead:

Was that the one where Shoemaker went storming to Kimi in the garage and then Brawn took him aside and showed him a replay of the start showing it was the cobblers fault?
