Hmmm. Sounds like a Laverda.
As spectacilarily beautiful as it appears, and as bristling as the specs are, we will have to see if it humbles the MV Agusta (The most beautiful bike on the planet, in my opinion), Aprilia Mille, Ducati 998 or 999, or even the S4 (which is the one I want)

You want uncomfortable seat? Try the Ducati Monster or the Honda CB1, They slope and mash your balls into the tank.

Oh, and thanks for stepping up to my back during all that bullshit with the pinheads on the Leo's forum. I owe ya!

Yesss...thats the one. That bike is the exotic that all others should bow to. As outstanding a peice as the Benelli is, it is a brand new bike without an established reliability and performance record yet.
This MV was and is a masterpiece of both art and performance right from the get-go. If I won a lottery, the MV Agusta is the first thing I would buy.
I do hope that the Benelli does well, though. I am a dyed in the wool eyetie bike fanatic, and have the Italian Red White and Green tricolour painted on the floor in my garage.
My ugly old Kraut cars stay outside with the dog.
