LF Cross Border Finance/Tax Specialist

As the title states, I'm looking for a US/CAN tax specialist to help us with some investment advice etc while we are on assignment in the US. Does anyone have any recommendations? Our company provides us with pwc so can't use them, and EY came back at $500 an hour - no thanks.
