Doctors recomend State of ermgency in Delhi over smog. Here im Alberta we are stifling investment over fugitive emissions small enough that cow farts could interfere.

Forget the carbon tax lol we need the cow tax or ban cows for meaningful emissions reductions lol

Meanwhile in India .....

Improve the human condition, not the quality of the water and air.

Its a long term thinking. By sterilizing things white, you only create conditions where humans become weak in the long run. Only the strong disease resistant survive, the rest perish.

Doctors in the west now understand this, and will try to actively ban all anti-bacterial products used on a daily basis. If you condition humans to need fluoride in the water to prevent tooth decay, then we will be forever dependant upon it - instead of what we should be doing to prevent tooth decay - which is gnawing on raw bones.

We should send billions of Canadian tax dollars to help them clean it up!

This is why a Canadian carbon tax is crucial to the future, it'll stop us from buying manufactured goods from the places that actually destroy the planet.

Not surprising. I don't recall where in India this was exactly anymore, but you can see semi blue skies in the picture..yet it was hard to breath. We all put on facial masks for a good portion of our trip just to prevent the soot from getting to the lungs. Without them blowing your nose results in pure black snot. This was back in 2011.

When life gives you lemons make lemonade. When life gives you carbon dioxide, plant more trees. Simple.

The air is much cleaner than in 1850, when the entirety of North America was burning wood for fuel, and horseshit is open in the streets as every vehicle was a horse. Millenials expecting too much again, just saying.

The air is also much cleaner than my childhood, when they pumped the air full of leaded gasoline.

Lakes on fire from pollution...

Our office is right beside that lake, I was there last year when this particular fire happened, tough to breath and stunk like shit. Still walked to the office daily from the hotel, so probably took a solid 3 or 4 years off my life haha. The article makes it sound like it's a first time thing, but that lake lights up on fire every couple of months.

When the foam isn't on fire, it blows into the air, foam party!

Agreed that sterilizing white people is not gonna solve the problem.

We need to put up a wall to keep out their smog. And make them pay for it.
