Just like the title says, what's your go to chocolate place?

Could be Purdys, could be Choklat, could be some other place? What makes it your go to place?

I won't comment because I have a TELUS workmate from my past who owns and operates a small independent chocolate shop here in Calgary which I'm kind of partial to.

If you just want some straight up chocolate, Choklat is just so much better than any other shop (IMO), and seemingly objectively so as well if you understand the whole process. Pretty amazing when you can get 80% dark chocolate with zero bitterness and hardly any cocoa butter.

That being said the Himalayan sea salted caramels at Purdy's along with the salted peanut butter supremes are a guilty pleasure for sure - amazing.

Funny enough, I'm looking for a chocolate advent calendar. Anyone have any suggestions? I thought about making my own with a blank box calendar and getting various chocolates....

This... They also have groupon(or groupon type) deals every once in a while too. $15 for $30 worth of product.

Yeap. Just used mine. Got the Groupon for $12 for $30 worth. There was a $3 discount coupon. And then Lindt had a 100 Truffles for $34.99 sale. = $0.17cents/ball.

I recently visited Cacao17 in Springbank. The hot chocolate was delicious. They also have different kinds of chocolate fondues, waffles, sundaes, etc. I found it a bit pricey, so it is a nice place for a treat once in awhile.

Best. It was tempting not to buy several bags. Thanks for the tip!

A friend of a friend has a chocolate company up in Edmonton called Bakers Block Chocolates. Her stuff is absolutely unreal and we've eaten a lot of different types lol.

Shoppers Drug Mart for me. Though the only two chocolates I really eat are Original KitKat, and Ferraro Rocher.

If any of these fancy places have a high end version of a KitKat, let me know please.

London Drugs has flavored KitKat. You're welcome.

KitKat or Twix are my go-to

Yeah I know, the Mint, Oreo, Dark, etc. I don't like those, just the "Original", however if someone makes one with even better milk-chocolate, that would be awesome.
