Range is fine. Charging speed and abundance of available of charging infrastructure is the problem.

EV is the perfect car 90% of time.

The Chinese already decided EV is the future. And since they are the only one spending $, the world will follow.

We tried to even buy a Bolt. There just isnt any. Jack carter had one coming in but it was optioned out tk $53k. The only other one that was in the building just came and the owner had it on order for a year.

Vw is not bringing egolfs to dealers not re outfitted tk service and charge. Theres none in Calgary. I found 2 last year model nissan leaf. The 2018 looks promising. The 17 is too small.

Wish there was more availability of electric in general. This is great news.

And yes. Its the only logical future given triple the efficiency of gasoline.

Blame Alberta, no incentives here. Bolts are mostly headed out east where they qualify for a $15k incentive.

The bolt is an awesome bang for the buck in the US. Very solid EV with good range even for short trips. I have a handful of friends that bought them in California. In Canada, not so much except in Ontario. The residuals are terrible, interest rates high, and without the incentive here in AB, lease rates are about the same as my GLA45 optioned to $73k.

If it wasn’t so bad, closer to $500/month I would have picked one up.

I expect NDP charging me carbon tax to give us at least $5k off EVs so manufacturers will allocate some here. All we got are cheap light bulbs and $100 off Nest thermostat.

Ontario is taking every EV there is allocated to Canada right now. Everyone worry that $14k rebate will end soon, either by Liberals trying to balance the budget or PC comes it.

I have never seen myself wanting a Hyundai more than finding out Gestalt hates them.

In terms of quality Ford > Chrysler > GM

As an owner of all three brands of vehicles, this has been my experience... especially GM products
stragen you got that totally backwards.

Must be plated in Ontario for 3 years or you have to return the incentive back to government.

Even people in Ontario can't get them. Even EV only accounted for 1% of sales, most dealership's already ran out of 2017 models.

Bolts and Volts are still being allocate and given away in California instead.

There were so many $99/mth 500e and $200/mth Volts down there.

Nevermind, answered above (was asking about Ontario incentive).
