Deputy prime minister immediately disqualified on that criteria.

New law requires singular citizenship to retain job as member of parliament. I can understand why, you cannot serve two masters, and as a lawmaker for a state - you could only be a citizen of that state - otherwise it will always look like you are a puppet government. British or French citizenship should definitely disqualify anyone in Canada, in my opinion.

Personally I say we just let the native tribes make all the laws.

Seems with Trudeau in power, we get closer to that every day.

This reminds me so much of that guy who wears an Oilers jersey under a Flames jersey.

Go to the game, and when Calgary starts losing just tear off the shirt and start cheering for the winning team. Exactly why dual citizenship is not possible.
