Desktop setup for Minecraft / Webcam streaming

As the title states, I don't think I am after anything too crazy...

I am also not the most savvy on what is good / bad in the PC world anymore so I was hoping you guys / girl can help me out / point me in a direction without getting a kijiji dud

My little guy (6 years old) is really into Minecraft / wants to start making youtube videos, etc... and wants a desktop (or laptop?) for Christmas.

I can't spend an arm and a leg or get something that is inadequate, if you guys could let me know what I might be in for / has something for sale, that would be awesome.

Here is a very cheap build, $700 though, not sure if that is above what you were hoping to spend or not. I know your son is only 6, but maybe if you needed a new computer too it would be easier to justify?

I just googled the minimum performance requirements for Minecraft and they are pretty low.

What I noticed on Kijiji is 99% of people's computers are hilariously overpriced. I sold my old rig for $750 and there were dozens of computers with way worse specs that people still wanted $1100-1200 for.

Ya, I’m not looking for a new computer - I’m not sure what is or isn’t overpriced for a used rig...

I could check out some reviews and can buy just the tower As I have everything else, ~400 is the most I would want to go
