I'm not sure if anyone has posted on this before but I came across this yesterday:

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertainment/movies/netflix-codes-the-secret-numbers-that-unlock-thousands-of-hidden-films-and-tv-shows/ar-BBH77Wa?li=AAggFp5

And, yes, I have tried it and it does seem legit. I logged in on my laptop, went to some sci-fi page, and started watching a movie. When I later went into Netflix via Telus box, there was the movie, asking if I wanted to continue watching.

Maybe I'm the last to know about this, but there it is.

That's actually really useful cause sometimes I have difficulty deciding on things to watch. Thanks!

I kind of knew it existed, but didn't bother going through them until I went through the core of the popular genres:

If you're logged into Netflix, enter www.netflix.com/browse/genre/XXXX into your browser's toolbar to bring up one of the thousands of genres in Netflix's library.

"XXXX" is a series of digits - 1089 is "Mind-bending Movies", for example; while 354 is "Movies Starring Matthew McConaughey" - currently a genre of one film.

I'm a masochist for this sort of thing, so I occasionally just type in random number to see what crazy categories they came up with - and whether or not there is a move in there. List favorite genres if you wish.
