LF: Commercial Truck parking for January

I have a semi I need parked Jan 4th to Jan 24th.

Anyone here have outdoor space for it?

Any hazardous or especially valuable cargo? Need a secure site or just anywhere off the street?

Calgary preferred - maybe 30 minutes around Calgary. Calgary bylaws says it has to be moved every 72 hours if I leave it on streets. I won’t be around to move it.

We have a spot in Red Deer. Secure acreage in an acreage community. Bit further than you want, but I don't know many places that'll store for just a month.

Lots of truckers leave them for a few days at least in commercial areas like by princess auto or on 100 Ave by the airport Hampton Inn. Wonder if parking is enforced out there at all...

I wouldn't risk it for 3 weeks.

Wherever you go get a chain and lock for your battery boxes! I have two International trucks in my fenced in compound that I'm trying to sell, thieves stole the batteries and cut the cables while doing so. About $1,000 per truck. They left everything else in my yard alone. This is a chain link with barbed wire upper surround too. Hate to think the stole just to get the $25 ea core value but that's probably so.

I think I may have found a place for $150 - kinda steep to park but I guess it’s better than red deer!
